During my free time, as I said, were the weekends, I try to visit as much as I can butalso leaving me some time to rest.
What I visit so far, are the most tourist spots in the city of Wellington that mostcaught my attention, as the Museum of New Zealand: Te Papa Tongarewa, which has four centers of discoveries that make known more about New Zealand and its people, the Parliament and the Botanic Gardens from Otari-Wilton Woods. I was also at the Purakaunui Falls, a system of waterfalls on the Purakaunui River, located in the Catlins, South Island, NewZealand, and at Mine Bay Lago Taupo, that has in its northeastern part, Mine Bay some cliffs with a stone sculpture of the Maori to which you can only get by boat. This size that has more than 10 meters high, is designed to protect the lake of volcanic activity beneath it, and finally, I've been at the Museum of Art and History of Rorotua, located in Rotorua, in the Bath House, the historic Tudor-style building.

The city of Wellington

I'm staying in Wellington, the capital of New Zealand. It's located in the center of New Zealand in the extreme south of North Island and it offers an unforgettable city experience in a spectacular natural setting located between the port and green hills. Everyone in Wellington feel welcome and accepted, regardless of culture; they are used to getting people from everywhere and every ages.
The region offers the charm of a cosmopolitan lifestyle, a great number of cafes and restaurants, theaters, cinemas, museums, and many options for relaxing in parks, gardens, mountains, forests, rivers, beaches and farms.
In this city are located the Museum of the City and the Sea of Wellington, Museum of New Zealand - Te Papa Tongarewa, South Coast and Red Rocks, Parliament,Wellington Botanic Garden and Otari-Wilton Woods, Karori Wildlife Sanctuaryamong other more, which are tourist spots in town too. The airport is 15 minutes from downtown and less than 90 minutes of any other part of the region. There are taxi services available at all times taxibus. With Wellington's central location, access to other parts of New Zealand is also easy, via ferry services, bus, trains and airlines. The services of suburban trains and buses traveling the region are among the best in the country. In Wellington you can go to all sides on foot or using public transport easily.
This city has a fairly temperate climate, without extremes of heat or cold.

This is the view from the house I'm staying. It's really beautiful, I could spend hours looking at this landscape.

My first impressions

I arrived here to the capital two days ago and everything went excellently well. The truth, at the beginning I was a little bit scared, I was new in town and I did not know anyoneor where were the places located. More or less, as if I didn't knew where I was standing. When leaving the airport, I went straight to the house where I will stay; luckily they went for me, otherwise I think I'd lost and that definitely wouldn't be a good start for me. The people, so I noticed, is very good, very warm, very welcoming, I think that is because they are used to having teenagers like me who go to work and stay a few months there. These days, mostly what I did was looking for work and I found one in a coffee as a waitress. Then in my free time, I tried to visit as much as I could.
The job is every day a week, during the day, ie 7 am to 5pm except Saturday and Sunday. What they pay me is very good for the beginning.
On the other hand, what I could visit in those days was the center, rather to better know the location of the cafe, and also the kind of transport because I have to move alone all the time and I can't spend on something very expensive.
After that, I didn't do much more, I start next week to work and, on weekends I have planned to visit and take a rest.
I will tell how I'm going later.
